Once upon a time, I believed that every one was born an idealist. Only after ages, by experiencing the world they lived in, they become realists, because of the world’s ugliness, because of people’s carelessness, and because of them self’s weakness. They struggled for surviving, they craved for happiness, they begged a figure created by themselves who’s called God for a brighter future. For a few coins they fight, for a little bread they lie, and for a few words they quarrel. Thus they let their hearts bow to the dark, and make their minds fallen. That is the way tragedies happen, and repeat over and over and ever.

So, I question myself, will I? Definitely not, I hope, but not that certain. I saw so many people who sweared to defend their dream, though they finally turned their heads along the tide but against it. I’m afraid of that I will follow them. I’m not strong. I have no favourable wind. I’m merely a tiny boat in an open sea. How can I be against the tide?

Even though, I guess I’m not alone. Many fall, a few stand still. Journalists who stand in the frontline of battlefield reporting brutal and savage truths of wars, medics who stay with people infected by incurable deadly diseases helping to save their lives, volunteers who devote to remote rural villages giving up opportunities in big cities, they are all standing by my side, accompany with me, encouraging me, filling me with strength, because they keep their hearts and fulfil their dreams. I admire them. I want to be one of them. I know that the road will be long and windy, I know that there will be endless difficulties waiting for me, and I know that the weakness deep in my heart is not yet overcame, I know, but I am no more afraid of them. Those close to me may be against my decision in good will, those who hate me may laughing at my coming failure they foreseen, but I will not give up, for I know that somewhere in the world there are people who really know me, understand me, support me, though we may have even not met before. Yes, I am not alone, and that’s enough.
